Give
Why We Give?
God wants to be first in every aspect of our lives—including our finances. We have the opportunity to build a relationship with God through trusting Him. Malachi 3:10 tells us that when we tithe and bring back to God what is already his, he will bless us. When we trust and throw away worry and concern over wealth, knowing that he will provide us with everything we need, we can find peace. We understand that in our current time everyone’s situation is different, we only ask you to give what you are able, and to do it prayerfully.
Thank you for giving generously to help us to serve our community and our God.
Big, Better, Bold Generosity - 2023 Giving Campaign
Dear Friends and Siblings in Christ,
In 2 Corinthians 3:12, the apostle Paul says, “since we have such a hope, we are very bold”. As we look back on all that Conshohocken UMC has accomplished over the last year through the generous giving of money, prayers, witness, service, and time we give thanks! We have improved our church building; we have supported our own community and we have changed lives with fresh water for people in Uganda! We have been beacons of hope for so many near and far!
As we look forward to 2023, as we all experience the challenges of the current economy, we cannot lose hope- in fact we need to embrace hope even more! If we have hope, we can be bold! We can boldly give of ourselves, and the gifts entrusted to us by God! Please prayerfully consider how you will support the work of CUMC in the name of Jesus. You will find a pledge/commitment card with this note. Your pledge helps us to plan and expand the programs and ministries. You can bring your completed card to church, drop it off in the church office or send it electronically. We will be presenting our gifts during worship on November 13th. We are excited to celebrate our collective hope and boldness.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Karen & The CUMC Finance Team
