Family Connection Program
Family Connection is a new program at Conshy United for 2025. The program is open to families of any composition and will offer monthly opportunities to gather for a fun activity. Small local businesses will lead a series of crafting, cooking and dancing/movement events. The program kicked off with family yoga led by Yoga Home in January.
In February we’re learning how to make pasta! Cooking with Lorena will lead the pasta party. Event will take place at Conshohocken UMC in Jillian’s Café at 10:30 AM.
The program’s goal is to create connection between families in the community and will offer opportunities for all to provide care and kindness to others. Each event will include a service aspect that supports a need in our community. Participants at the February event are asked to bring an item for a spaghetti dinner for the guests at the Code Blue Shelter held at the Church on the Mall at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. Suggested items: Box of spaghetti, Jar of Spaghetti Sauce, Can of Parmesan Cheese, Frozen Garlic Bread, Bag of Frozen Meatballs.
All kinds of families and individuals are invited. Activities will be designed to provide adaptable, sensory sensitive, inclusive opportunities.
Please share and invite families in your neighborhood to participate in Family Connection!
