TLC (Transforming Lives and Communities) for the People is a non-profit that aids in promoting the overall wellbeing for our unhoused community. TLC manages the Code Blue Shelter at St John’s in Norristown and the monthly Outreach Event – every 3rd Saturday year-round in Norristown and multiple activities leading up to the event (i.e. sorting, making sandwiches, essential bags, etc.)
In December, Conshy United and CPW Rotary will co-sponsor the TLC Monthly Outreach. This will involve prep activities on Th., 12/18, in Jillian’s Café at Conshy United and at the Outreach Event in Norristown on Saturday, 12/20.
On Sat 12/20 we will take all donations from Conshohocken United to the Outreach Event in Norristown and volunteer during the event.

The Outreach Event takes place in the parking lot behind The Coalition to Save Lives at 201 Swede Street, NORRISTOWN. The parking lot is actually on Lafayette St cattycorner to the Norristown Transportation Center. Free parking is available on Lafayette. Once you sign up to volunteer, you will receive specific instructions regarding parking and Outreach do’s and don’ts.
Come in comfortable, weather appropriate (we will be standing outside most of the day), clothing prepared to serve this community. If you are signing up to load cars and deliver to the transportation center, please keep in mind that you need to be able to lift at least 20 lbs.
