In March we’re excited to have local author, Steve Schafer, join us to discuss his latest book, eMortal (Nov 19, 2024 release). Steve’s books are listed as Young Adult appropriate and explore cultural hot topics. In the The Border, he addresses our conversation around immigration. In his new novel, eMortal (Nov 19, 2024 release), he examines the tricky questions and nebulous ethics that may arise with quickly evolving AI. The Border was a finalist for the Joan F. Kaywell “Books Save Lives” Award and is required reading at the Esperanza School in Philadelphia and at another high school in CA.
