Conshohocken United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Worship Technology Coordinator responsible for the overall video and technology production and support for worship services. This person will also be responsible for producing and leading volunteers to help with video livestreaming, audio and on-screen graphics/lyrics. Additionally, they will work one-on-one with our talented Bent Knee Praise Band!

Salary:

$25 per hour / $8,100 yearly
6-8 hours per week

Position Summary:

The Worship Technology Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for the overall video and technology production and support for worship services at Conshy United Methodist. This person will also be responsible for producing and leading volunteers to assist with video livestreaming, audio, and on-screen graphics/lyrics.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and control the sound system, livestreaming and digital slides for worship on Sundays at 10am.
  • Develop, recruit, train, schedule, and lead a team of volunteers to help execute the technology aspects of worship services.
  • Create and manage digital slides for worship services and other ministries.
  • Develop creative ways to use multimedia within worship services and special events.
  • Provide leadership on the audio and video needs of the worship experience.
  • Provide direction in the purchase and maintenance of all technical equipment, giving oversight to the media ministry aspects of the annual budget

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Run and produce the weekly service in-house and online via livestream of Conshy United Methodist’s worship service (Sundays at 10am).
  2. Maintain a database of video recordings of services.
  3. Manage, maintain, and recommend upgrades for audio visual hardware and software.
  4. Train volunteers in running the live streaming hardware and software.
  5. Lead audio visual team for occasional special services (Good Friday, Christmas Eve Etc.)

Additional responsibilities may include the following items:

  • Produce occasional videos for other purposes in the life of the church
